Dear Investor,

For decades, the wealth management industry has operated under a business model that rewards advisors for gathering assets, not necessarily for delivering better advice. Investors pay an annual percentage of their assets year after year, even when the complexity of their financial lives hasn’t changed. The result is compounding fees and an experience that prioritizes investment management over real financial planning.

At Arcadia, we built our firm around a single principle: advice should be objective, transparent, and aligned with your best interests, not your portfolio size.

That’s why we charge a fixed annual fee of $18,000 rather than a percentage of your assets. Whether your portfolio grows because markets perform well or decades of disciplined saving compound into meaningful wealth, your advisory fee remains the same. Your success belongs to you.

Our focus is helping successful individuals and families make confident financial decisions through thoughtful planning, disciplined investing, and proactive advice. Every portfolio is designed with tax efficiency, low costs, and long-term performance in mind. And every financial plan is tailored to your family’s unique goals, values, and legacy.

We intentionally serve a limited number of clients so every relationship receives the attention it deserves. Our role extends far beyond investment management, we become your trusted financial partner, helping coordinate the many moving pieces that come with significant wealth, including retirement planning, tax strategy, estate planning, charitable giving, and multigenerational wealth planning.

Our mission is not simply to help you grow your wealth. It is to help you preserve it, simplify your financial life, and provide the clarity and confidence to make informed decisions for generations to come.

If you are looking for a more thoughtful approach to managing your wealth, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

About the Founder

I founded Arcadia in 2026, after nearly two decades as a financial advisor at some of California's most respected wealth management firms, most recently as an equity Partner at the world's largest non-bank wealth manager and family office.

But something didn't sit right with me: clients with larger portfolios (whom I work with) were paying multiples more in fees, even when they required the same, or oftentimes less work than clients with smaller portfolios. The percentage-of-assets fee structure no longer made sense to me.

So, I left to build something better: a firm, Arcadia, where the fee stays flat regardless of portfolio size, removing conflicting incentives entirely and allowing advice to be truly objective and transparent for the client.

I believe financial planning should be about you, your goals, your concerns, your family’s unique situation. Not about maximizing assets under management or selling products. I’m passionate about helping families understand exactly where they stand financially, using clear visual tools and plain language instead of industry jargon.

I’ve built this firm intentionally, not to grow massively or scale rapidly, but to deliver the kind of high-touch, personalized guidance I’d want if I were looking for a financial planner for my family. My goal is depth over breadth: meaningful, long-term relationships where I can truly know each client’s story and tailor my advice accordingly.

To preserve that level of service, I’ve limited the number of client households with whom I’ll work to no more than ~45. Beyond that, I have no plans to expand or sell the firm. You’ll work directly with me, not an associate. I value the relationships with my clients, not a future exit.

As you look through the pages on this website, I hope that my values are evident. Transparency, responsiveness, and genuine care are the pillars of my work as a financial advisor. I like to think of myself as your “Chief Financial Officer” in which it’s my duty to clearly articulate your financial choices, while also sharing my recommendations and any potential trade-offs or costs.

18+ years of experience as a financial planner

When I'm not serving my clients, I'm usually somewhere near the coast in San Diego (office is in Cardiff by the Sea and home is in Carlsbad), spending time with friends, traveling with my little family, playing squash, and firing up the BBQ or Blackstone.

I enjoy writing about the financial markets and have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, InvestmentNews, and CNBC. I am a proud member of the Fee Only Network, Wealthtender, Flat Fee Advisors and Flat Fee Planners.

My greatest joy in life is spending time with my beautiful wife, Natalie, and our two amazing daughters Gia and Demi.
