Dear Investor,

Choosing a financial advisor is one of the most important decisions you will make. Yet for decades, investors have been offered essentially the same two choices: pay an ongoing percentage based on the size of your portfolio or pay commissions for buying investment products.

95% of wealth management firms charge a percentage of assets under management. Under this model, two families can receive identical advice, planning, and service while paying very different fees simply because one has accumulated more wealth. As portfolios grow, advisory fees grow alongside them, even when the scope of work remains unchanged.

Arcadia was built on a different philosophy: advice should be valued for the expertise provided, not the size of a portfolio.

We work with a select number of successful families and retirees who want comprehensive guidance across every aspect of their financial lives. Our relationship includes integrated financial planning, investment management, tax strategy, retirement planning and ongoing advice tailored to your family’s goals.

Rather than charging a percentage of your assets, we charge a flat annual fee of $18,000 ($4,500 per quarter). The fee does not increase when markets rise, when your portfolio grows, or when years of disciplined saving and investing compound your wealth.

Just as important, our structure removes many of the conflicts that have become commonplace throughout the industry.

If you are looking for a more thoughtful approach to managing your wealth, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

About the Founder

I started Arcadia in early 2026 after 18 years in the wealth management industry. I previously served as an equity Partner at one the largest Registered Investement Advisors (RIAs) in the country overseeing more than $400 million for families.

But something didn't sit right with me: families with larger investment portfolios were paying multiples more in fees, even when they required the same, or sometimes less work than families with smaller portfolios.

So I left to build a new model: a firm, Arcadia, where the fee stays flat regardless of portfolio size, removing those incentives entirely and allowing financial advice to be truly objective.

I’ve built this firm intentionally, not to grow massively or scale rapidly, but to deliver the kind of high-touch, personalized guidance I’d want if I were looking for a financial advisor. My goal is depth over breadth: meaningful, long-term relationships where I can truly know each client’s story and tailor my advice accordingly.

To preserve that level of service, I’ve limited the number of client households with whom I’ll work with to no more than ~45. Beyond that, I have no plans to expand or sell the firm. You’ll always work directly with me, not an associate. I value the relationships with my clients, not a future exit nor accumulation of Assets Under Management (AUM).

As you look through the pages on this website, I hope that my values are evident. Transparency, responsiveness, and genuine care are the pillars of my work as an advisor. I like to think of myself as your family's “personal CFO” in which it’s my duty to clearly articulate your financial life, while also sharing my recommendations and any potential trade-offs or costs.

When I'm not serving my clients, I'm usually somewhere near the coast in San Diego (office is in Cardiff by the Sea and home is in Carlsbad), spending time with friends, playing squash and firing up the BBQ.

I enjoy writing about the markets and financial planning and have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, InvestmentNews, and CNBC. I am a proud member of the Fee Only Network, Wealthtender, Flat Fee Advisors and Flat Fee Planners.

My greatest joy in life is spending time with my beautiful wife, Natalie, and our two amazing daughters Gia and Demi.
